I have experience dropping engines and transmission into regular body shells, but I have never put a US engine into a JDM spec car. There is a JDM shell available in my area, and I would like to put my engine and tranny in it. Will the wiring harness work, or do I need a JDM harness? I know on certain cars like supras and soarers, the harness is reversed because of the RHD.

Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

The harness must be JDM. The JDM harness runs to our passenger side...which is your driver's side.

Also, if you plan on running stock turbo's, you must get a JDM downpipe.

the jdm harness can work. Just think about it. The only difference is the downpipe and the ecu mappins.THATS IT. Don't waste your money, buying stuff you don't need. you might have some problems with A/c which can be simply fixed.
