a while back i was reading about the history of the fd, and found there is ONE pearlie white rx7 in america, supposedly in mazda usa's h q. if so, does this mean there are also very few in japan? or could you import a pearlie white from japan cheaply ( kinda ), and sell it as an american pearlie white? if i found one i would never sell it. that color sounds awesome.

 

i remember wha tyou are referring to. there was one 95 that was pearl white, and and yes it was in the usa. however, i do not know of its where-abouts.....i know that it is on this site somewhere....

at seven stock mazda brings out a white 94, however its only regular white not the pearl

yeah theres a difference in paint color. the pearlier is a whiter color than the pearl white escalades come with, but with the same effect supposedly.



van, or anyone else who'll know, are there any in that color in japan ( i figure there would be ). if so are they rare there too? as for the one in the us, i figure mazda has it, and would be one hell've a lot of money to persuede them to let it go.

 

Last I heard, the pearl white fd was in Mazda USA's headquarters building. Of course that's just hearsay anyway.
