we have the best way to look for car:
1. make sure every feature works, ie try the wipers, rear defroster, ac heater etc.
2. drive the thing, every car should go straight down the road, not pull under braking. if something feels "weird" it might be. it also shouldn't make many noises (fd's will "clunk" in the rear its about $1200 to fix)
3. does it leak oil? coolant?
4. is the car clean? inside and out? most cars will be clean on the outside when you go to buy them. if its dirty on the inside that kinda tells you how it was cared for. <caution> if it is spotless under the hood, it could have big oil leaks that were just cleaned off.
