Looking At Flywheels For A 3'rd Gen
#12
I got the ACT Streetlite Flywheel. It took me about 8 hours to replace the clutch and flywheel with a lift. 2 hours was spent running down a puller to get the fly wheel off but besides that.... So far I love mine. I think it was around 350 for just the flywheel.

$290 to remove the tranny, clutch and replace the flywheel is a pretty good price

I have a lift, and my tranny is pulled cause 3'rd gear is blown to hell. So i got a new tranny and i figured i'd upgrade my clutch and fly wheel while i was at it. I picked up a SS clutch line as well those things really any better?

I just orderd a 9.5 LB prolite from ACT and it only cost my 240. Let me know what you guys think. I'll post how it feels once i get it running. I think i'm going to like it. If not i'll be sellin a real cheap 9.5 flywheel, i cant beleave i got that good a deal on it.

The stock flywheel weighs 22 lbs. The Act street weighs i thin 12.5 with the counter weight maybe 14, the pro weighs 9.5-9.9 and maybe 10-12 with the counter weight. You should have noticed a big diff from 22 to 14.
