Joe Maddox RHD BN Sports Blister Widebody Mad Mike Build

Re: Joe Maddox RHD BN Sports Blister Widebody Mad Mike Build
After a bunch of work. the engine was done. I had a few to choose from. In the end I just resealed a reman motor I got from mazda. It was one of the auto ones, but it passed the leak down and the comp tests. So I took it apart and then tossed a new seal kit on it! I figure it is a grenade, so I painted it accordingly. I kept the Cosmo motor for another build. It was eventually given to Chris and his widebody to assure it stayed rotary.
I brought the car in and got it ready to put the drivetrain in it!

Wheels... I needed some! So I started looking into what I wanted to run with this kit. I ended up falling in love with the VSXX rims from Works. I called them up and ordered some custom rims for the widebody. I Got them with a 9inch lip, white faces and black bolts. The fronts to be 18x13 and rears 18 x14.5. They ended up really making the kit come together. They were not cheap hahaha.
I was so close. Again... However life has a funny way of working out... This is where the story turns. Had a falling out with my two friends. Saw the end of the rotary happen in 2015 and the profiteering start and faced the realization that I wanted a specific house more than this car. So I decided to go ahead and sell it. Turns out that the car was worth a bit more with the chassis without the kit and rims and so that is how it went. The car sold to a guy in washington the day I listed it. He came down for it instantly. The other kid came up from medford and bought a pair of rims and the kit. The motor went to a build locally and the little stuff was all passed on to enthusiasts.
I have since watched the kit change hands a couple times. It made its way from there to Vegas where it was made pink and turned into a strip show car. I noticed not too long after that buckie lang ended up with it and is now making it into something new. The front bumper seems to have been destroyed during all that, but the kits still looks good on his FD!

Nevermind. It looks like he sold it already and it is missing the fenders possibly. But there it is today! This was the last sighting of it! Nice to see the kits is still around. I would love to know what happened to my old vsxx rims. I have another widebody project I am doing and they would look nice on it!
I am still on the look out for a clean shell. I may end up buying another touring someday, but it will need to be complete and not modified. I am arms deep in a hand full of classic and import restorations right now and these were just some fun times in the past. It is interesting to see how many cars and parts I had travel the country!

Turns out that the kit in the last picture is not my kit and was imported by Tom, circuit theory, without the front bumper and used. I remember the car that it was brought off now and it is the one from the google image search that was yellow with their logo at the bottom! Glad to know my kit is still out there and complete!

I was banned from the other group for personally attacking the admins of the forum and their fb group. You same dozen people complain over and over to mods like the ones here to try to get me banned. There are no reasons for it and that is why outside of the couple you all run, you have no way to silence me. Sorry I called you guys out, sorry I built cool things and still do. Not trying to trigger people to stalk me my entire life. I heard the last rumor was that I "dooped" someone into selling them a motor and sold two more that are in running cars. Not a horrible attack lol. If that is what they should be aware of, ok I guess? I think you are warning them that if they get to know me and they are bad people I will ******* scream that on any platform I can do it on. Be like Chris and Marc and you may need to beware. But are you saying you support those pedo's and thieves that I exposed? Specifically to the first gen fb group though, Rob and Tom had that done, you know rob, the clubs supermoderator for the NW section, the guy I got fired from the local rotary shop he worked at for a bad build? Want more stories? I got em!
Please leave my build threads alone. I am proud of the work I have done. I placed them here because they are the sites for them. I wish I could post the 30 classic cars I have restored here, but I am sticking to the rules. You should as well.

On a side note, it turns out that BN Sports is now offering the street kit for this to all people! You can order it from them if you do not mind the large fender vents. There was only the california kit company making knock offs until now! Not exactly the original 8 like this one was, but still really cool! I am thinking about getting another FD because of it! Stay tuned!

IF you google my name you get nothing bad... You get the discredited Jared thread, the "Joe Maddox at it again" thread that is a just saying I sold a motor no one complained about then "dooped" someone into selling me an engine. It is the mods that banned me and made the threads (outside of the dead one, styx, who made them all). The other two people who posted on that thread are two local people who are friends with robert white, the NW sections super moderator. He was fired from the rotary shops for putting in oil control rings in upside down and I called him out on it and several other bad builds he did, he will not let me on and has his cronies. For 20 years I have been selling parts and cars. Jareds thread is explained here on this site and I do not need to say anything else about it. There are no people who have claims with proof. Stop making stuff up on my build threads. Thank you.
I hope you liked the FD build thread! I might be doing another one soon!
