JDM Swap Not firing
#1
Alright, so my FD just received a used JDM swap, we kept the JDM engine harness as it was uncut, I made a jumper harness from the old blue engine harnesses, which got my injectors going, but the car seems to be firing late, but I'm also not sure if I'm getting enough fuel, or fuel at all. Backfires and kick over every now and again, but wont kick over and start. It will kick over with ether, so I have spark, but it kind of sounds like the timing is off. Motor has about 34000mi. Other question is which fuel line goes where on the motor, but I've tried switching the high pressure lines with no luck. I've got the low pressure line in the center, but where is feed? (the mazda manual illustrations werent much help). Pulled spark plugs, not wet, doesn't appear to be flooded. Anybody got any good ideas?

Just thinking out-loud..........
*Check the crank angle sensors for continuity and make sure you didn't accidently get the connectors reversed (maybe also check the trigger).
*Double check spark plugs wires to coils and make sure they are connected correctly.
*Could be bad/weak coil(s).
*IIRC, the ignitor is grounded through the mounting bolts and if the ground is poor, the spark will be weak or non-existent.
