So I got my first rx7 and have never worked on one of these cars so im looking for a little adivce,

gonna redo the whole intake and exhaust system and my biggest worry is the removing the main cat

and replacing it with a midpipe. From the 30-40 websites ive read about upgrading the 3rd Gen there

seems to be some concern about 'boost creep' and the wastegate not being able to handle the added pressure.

Can someone shed some light on this for me, should I skip doing the midpipe and just use a highflow cat???

Also has anyone ever replaced thier speedometer cable, the speedometer stopped working and Im thinking thats the problem.

Thanks Guys

Here is a link to a quick discussion on mid-pipes https://www.nopistons.com/forums/index.php?...=0&#entry260311

About half-way down the page they start talking about it.

Hope that helps
