My car is finally tuned and back on the road after almost a year of work. I blew

a rear apex seal last October because of uncontrolable boost. I was getting spikes

up to 14-15psi in between shifts with the auto, with a ported wastegate. My point is; not only is the auto slow as hell off the line and no fun to drive, its also bad for

the engine. Since then I had the engine rebuilt and mildly street ported by P'cola FD, did the manaul swap, added E6k, and had the turbos rebuilt. The auto to manaul swap was by far the best upgrade and only costed around $1500 including a brand new ACT clutch kit. I highly recommend this to anybody with auto, feel free to ask me questions. Here are my numbers from the dyno dyno numbers Thanks for all the help on the forum. See ya around.

Ok ,I have an automatic and I want to do the swap and you said you had it done for $1500 that is a pretty good price. Let me know where this place is at and if I will get that price. I looking to have this done by christmas or earlier.

$1500 is not including labor. I did all the labor myself. Keep an eye out on the

forums and www.thepartstrader.com for a parts car. Try to by all the parts as

a package deal.

So how is it running now? Some say you have problems after the convertion. Also how hard was it to do this project? Cause I might end up doing it myself.

One more favor can you give me a list of what I will need and what I can still use? I apreciate it. Joe

The project is going to be as hard as you make it, but well worth the effort. Its according to how in depth you wanna go with it. Here is a helpfull link http://www.jrx7.com/auto5speedswap.htm .

Do a search in this forum for 'auto manual' to find more info. Let me know if you ]

have any specific questions.
