yes, you will have problems. keep it.
unless, you have no PS, A/C, lights (brake lights too), or pretty much anything that puts load on the engine.

I dont have one on my car. The computer has the capability to run it, but i didnt bother. I keep my idle at 1.5k, so nothing really kills it.
