please confirm that precat is the one that usually clogs first, right? i don't want to replace the main cat unless i know that's the problem but i've definitely been planning on a dp...was driving for half an hour aroung town this weekend, parked, car idling, lifted hood like i always like to do and the edge of the hood almost seared a line into my hand..i had to switch back and forth between hands just to prop it up! seems to be running hotter...although today it seemed better.

coolant ok, oil ok,...radiator upgrade first or dp first?

DP first. 100% dp first. The precat is verydangerous to your turbos!

before you get a mp make sure you got something to stop the boost creep, like a boost controller and a engine magament system. better safe than sorry. anyways i would get a dp and then the radiator. the new aluminum radiator help alot with my underhood temps, and my water temps. while the pfc helped my water temps also by making the fans turn on sooner.

a MP will not drop your temps that much as a DP or rad. Do the fan mod too if you dont have a PFC.

highly advise to not put an MP on without controlling boost first, and a few other somewhat minor things

I've heard you'll have boost creep with a MP unless you port your wastegate or something. Is this true?

I've read the same thing, but for my situation (still stock) i'm considering the dp as a reliability mod (hp=bonus) and i've prioritized the mp way down on my list.

I'm sorry if I had misled you. What I meant to convey is that you should 1st do the Downpipe, then when you're ready do the Midpipe, and finally when you're further ready do the Catback.

I have done my mods in groups:

1. Silicon hose job, replace all fluids, spark plugs & wires

2. Cooling: Radiator & all hoses, Thermostat

3. PowerFC, M2 Intake w Hardpipes, Greddy elbow, Midpipe & Downpipe + port wastegate

4.

5.

6.
