Ok, i've searched and searched, and i think that i might have found some answers to my problems. Let me lay out the story for you.

6 months ago, i blew my engine, i rebulit my engine with all new seals, rotor housings and all that nice stuff. Everything on the car is practically new. My grounds are solid also.

I race ported the engine, its using 1300cc sec, 550cc pri, PFC, m2 i/c, intake, dp, mp, fp, cb non seq, no emissions, no nuthin. bare bones people.

Ok my problems are annoying, and plan on fixing them, i think this would make a great thread to help others as i have found through searching that most people after a rebuild have the same problems as i do.

Coolant- I removed the AST with the m2 kit, and somehow now i have sprung a leak on my turbos. Simple fix, the crush washers or its loose and it will be fixed.

Idle - my car loves to idle above 1500rpms and sometimes it will idle at 800, but rarely. I plan on doing a TPS adjustment as well as the idle set screw. I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Oil leaks - i've had many from the pan to the oil level sensor to what i now think is one of the oil cooler lines on the engine.. so i'll check that out and keep you posted. Its coming from the driver side and leaks 5-10 drops ever night.. its hard to tell with the aeropan on.

Bucking - The car has polyurethane mounts, so that ends that argument, however I experience bucking at WOT and on decel. My thoughts are that I will be able to fix these with the TPS adjustment, we'll see? the injectors phase back on if the car reaches 3200rpms on decel, causing the bucking and making for crappy decel.

The WOT bucking is still a mystery? the car has a new fpd, fpr, fuel lines, hoses and fuel filter. checked the ignitor, and coils and plug wires. all OK. Going to put in new plugs again. I know that i'm running rich, but its getting insane. I'm going to try new maps to see if i can't solve the fuel richness problem.

I've had the weirdest coolant leak before where i would brake and coolant would enter the engine and go out the exhaust found that it was a loose coolant hose on the turbos. it was causing the coolant to drip into the turbos and cause the smoke.

Boost - my car before i put a Profec B would not make past 7psi of boost, (per the wastegate set spring) and that fixed the problem. Though now i cannot make past 5psi of boost and cannot go past 4k rpms under WOT. Thinking that its my plugs? plug wires? TPS? Its one problem after another.

Oil pressure guage - it doesn't work... sits always at 0. The sending unit is new, the connections are clean... could it be a short? a bad internal gauge? it read crappy before the rebuild.. now it doesn't work at all?

So after searching and reading all night, these are my suggestions to fix my problems.. If anyone else has similar problems or input that could help, it would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to get her on the dyno soon, but I need to sort out all these problems. Thanks again to anyone who can help.

Well, I have nothing towards the bucking at WOT... Matter of fact, I have never even heard of that... Could very well be plugs though... Have you ohmed out your engine wiring harness? Just an idea...

The oil pressure gauge is weird too... Although mine is exactly the same. I'm thinking the gauge itself took a ****.

Sometimes I feel like a ding-dong trying to help everyone with the FD... Mine has NEVER had a strange problem... No boost issues, no weird electrical problems... NOTHING. I've helped quite a few people with things... But normally just installs and MINOR problem fixes...

On a side note... My car idled high too. I just loosened the throttle cable and voila! Never had another issue with it..

idea will never be the same after porting so don't try. 800-1200rpm are good numbers.

WOT you need to dyno it get check out the A/R in the rpm range. heckups are only casued buy fuel changes or ignition changes. but since you said you boost pretty much such (**** 5psi). look for in take intake leaks.

its tough to tell becuase you did all this stuff it all at once(MODS) that it will be tough to pinpoint whats up.

any engine codes. the ones you haventaped and resistered up ( 330 ohms please).

oil pressure... just **** it. go to fc3s.org the have an adapter that you stick in between the oil filter and engine that has oil temp and pressure gauges hook ups for after market gauges and then you 'll never worry about it again.

also get a water temp gauge it pretty much a must for these cars

also remake a list of all you mods all the ps, mmsn no spw ,hkhke and, ABCD.. makes my head spin and don't know all that you are talking about

as far as the coolant and oil leak stuff..... pretty much the small stuff... don't sweat iT. Fix the coolant stuff. The oil leaks live with what you can. the engine gets to dawn hot for oil not to leak from some where. as long as you don't have a lake michigen in your drive way be

friend and i found a big vacuum leak that sounds similar to normal belt whine on the LIM. Have to pull the turbos and stuff to get to it, hopefully this will be the end of the hunt. It was a BIG leak, so can't wait to get it taken care of. Plan on fixing it on the 18th.

i'll keep you guys posted.
