The car will idle like **** when its cold man, there is really not too much you can do about it. just pull some fuel out of the PIM voltage on 1000rpm. Should help you somewhat. Also adjust your idle screws accordingly.
Trailerpark idle? Nah man, just means its CAMMED!!!
one of my friends liked his rotary to have a lumpy idle cuz it sounded cammed..lol
"that thing misfiring?" "that thing cammed?"

Aight. Off to tune. Wish me luck.. Or something.

By temp correction maps I meant that the PFC will change the map by a certain % depending on temp. When its cold the car needs more fuel to run correctly, when its hot it doesn't need as much so it cuts back the fuel a little. You can look at the different temp correction factors in the settings menu somewhere. Look in the manual. I've heard of people messing with those settings to make it run better but I never have.
I'd try Van's idea first though before you go playing with those.

Very common(and annoying) problem with the PFC...glad mine doesn't do it(anymore)!

ya, your correct Justin. But the reason it doesn't idle surge during warm up is because of the water temp correction ADDS fuel. As soon as the car is warmed up, the fuel corrections go to 1.00(1.00 X the fuel correction map X the base map) and the car goes leaner...which causes it to start idle surging again. As soon as 9Base3 adds fuel...it will idle.

I have NO control over the idle. I can back the ****** idle screw all the way out and it still idles at 1500 and surges to 2000... back and forth, back and forth.. I cleaned it up by farting with the air bleed (or whatever it's called) under the TB.. It steadied at 1500, but will go NO lower. And as soon as I tap the gas, it starts that AWESOME surging.. It eventually goes away, but I have no luck with adjusting the idle whatsoever.
Jeff and I screwed with it for 4 hours and got nearly nowhere. We DID get a good driving map in the car (well, he did) and tested to 5 psi, but the idle surging all over the lower RPM band didn't help trying to tune the lower RPMs.. The car pulls clean and hard.. that's about it.
I think (we think) there's something fucked up somewhere in the TB. Seeing as how the idle is seperate to itself and I can't control it.. I think something in the TB is farkked up. Not sure WHAT, as I looked it over really good but... Whatever.. It's just my goddamn luck, thats all.
Thanks for all the help. Wish I had more good **** to say, but I dont.
Oh... I DID see a whole shitload of chicks today though..

thought of something else...
in the Idle/Rev map(should be the last map at the bottom of the settings list) You should adjust your idle to like 950/1000/1050 and then the decel fuel on values to something like 1350/1400/1450. You can turn them down slowly until it starts idling crappy again but just turn it back up a notch to fix it.

Maybe your TPS is fucked up.
Go to the sensor screen and push the gas slowly to the floor. The TPS voltage should gradually/smoothly change as you press the gas.
Search around for the proper specs of the voltage signal.
