wiring your pumps at 12V isnt a bad thing.

I have a dedicated fuel pump circit with its own relays and fuses wired directly to the battery.

works fine

I'm not saying it is either. I was referring to the jumper wire. I feel uneasy about leaving the jumper wire in there. It seems like a fire hazard to me. I've already said that the factory fuel pump relay spot is empty. This leads me to beleive that it is already at a constant 12V. The previous owner said something about it being wired directly to the alternator (he thinks). However, it is wired into the factory harness in the trunk so I have no idea how to trace it to the engine bay.

I forgot to mention that the fuel pump kicks on for a second or two, but then it turns off. If I put the jumper wire in Diagnosis Port then it stays on. Thanks for the help guys.

Also if I take the Circuit Opening Relay out and hard wire it open the pumps stay on. So, if I'm understanding this correctly, something is telling the Circuit Opening Relay to close a second or two after it turns on. I've even tried my friends circuit relay to see if it is bad, and the same problems resulted. The Circuit Opening Relay kicks off and the pump dies.
