Front Mount Intercooler For Fd
#12
XS doesn't make theirs anymore. Rx7 fashion is out of business as far as I know. And the Turbo Street Fighter FMIC isn't made anymore. So getting one made with a GTR core isn't going to happen unless you find a used one.
If you want one that is RIGHT up front get a Greddy 2 or 3 row. Othrewise make your own or get an Apexi

the apexi uses a gtr core doesn't it? or is it just the same design? the v spec core or whatever?
apexkw uses the apexi rx6 kit, i made the brackets that hold the radiator behind the intercooler, we don't have any ducts at all, but it seems to work really well. the condenser is actually sitting in the stock location, but moved down a bit, the radiator was to big to fit down there as well, since he got the fluidyne, so we just stood up the radiator. it kinda makes a triangle shape in between everything since the intercooler is straight and the condenser is almost horizantal and the radiator is on a small slant forward. but no ducting was used...
another plus is that since is sits a bit farther back you get less dings from rocks and such.
