I replaced my brake rotors and cleaned my ABS sensors and ring teeth. Now when I turn at lock or loaded suspension, it makes a clicking sound like a wheel or some sort of rotational mass hitting something. It's speed dependant meaning if I'm driving fast and turn--it clicks fast and it will click slow when I'm turning slow.



I don't think it's rubbing against the wheel well--I took it out.



I've read that maybe it's the brake pad retaining spring rubbing the wheel? I don't think that's it.



I sprayed WD-40 on the upper A-arms to determine if it was suspension, but that didn't change the sound of the clicking.



It sounds like CV-Joints clicking, but this is a rear-wheel drive car.



There's also a TSB about replacing motor mount and the clearence not being enough. Could this be my problem? I can't put a jack on the jacking point anymore?! The body is closer to the ground?! This does have stock springs.



Please help, this is my daily driver so I don't know how severe the damage is.

BTW, it happens on the right for right turns and on the left for left turns.

 

my car makes a similar noise, only its never consistent, sometimes i can hear it others its all i can hear. ive had it looked at earlier this year and they say its the right rear suspension bearing, its not causing any damage, but i plan on fixing it soon. I dont think it cost very much either, something around 150 bucks

 

I'm pretty sure my noise is in the front and it is consistant. The rear noises are usually bushing related. The front?

 

on my fwd cars that was a cv joint going bad



it's going to have to be something that rotates, because if it didn't rotate it would only pop once



bearings maybe?? your caliper isn't hitting the wheel is it?
