A Few More Performance Questions...
#1
Ok.. i will be running a custom intake, downpipe, and an exhaust on a stock ecu for a little while... maybe a month or two. should i stick with the stock bov or go with an aftermarket like a greddy type-s or something else small? when i get the ecu upgrade, i will be putting in a midpipe, smic, greddy elbow, plugs/wires upgraded, bigger fuel pump, and most likely go non-sequential. do you think its wise to run this bov? or just stick with stock? also... what do you guys think about the greddy elbow that has the mount for the bov? helps to keep me from having to weld it on the i/c pipes and having it look all nasty n ****... anyhow... what are your thoughts?? another question.... the ecu i am getting is a g-force ecu tuned for mp/dp/cb/smic/intakes, and up to 14psi. will it make my car run super rich if i put this ecu on with just dp, intake, cb?? and will switching to non-seq. matter if its a g-force ecu??

You don't really need to get a new blow off valve. The G-force ecu will, more than likely, make the car run pig rich, regardless of mods. I have a pettit ecu, and it's always rich. If you wanna do nonsequential properly, get a programable ecu. That way, you can advance the timing in the lower rpms to make up for the lack of boost, at least a little, and have the fuel tuned properly.

You're going to blow up if you run the intake, downpipe, and catback combo with no ecu. All it takes is one boot spike. I'd suggest installing just the downpipe and catback, and hold off on the intake untill after you have the ecu installed. G-force should work ok, but something programable like a power fc is alot more flexible.

Benny's gonna buy my gforce ecu first. He'll upgrade to a pfc when he goes single turbo.

Why do you want a different blow off valve?
No need for that at all.
Also why get different plug wires?
If yours aren't phsyicaly damaged there is no point in replacing them,You will see no difference in the car at all.
Plugs ..just use NGK 9's all the way around.
I still say you are fine with the stock fuel maps with a DP/Catback and intake.
I spiked at 16 psi with DP/IC/Catback and intake on more than one occasion and never had a problem.
**** I had it set at 13psi and would hit 14 all the time. Still never had a problem.
You could play it safe if you want, I just don't think you need to worry about it that much.
DP/CB/Inatke should be ok.
Maybe I am the exception to the 3 mod rule but I am not the first guy to get away with it.
It's your call.
Stay away from the midpipe though
