Yeah, so i dont know how long my car has done this, but i just noticed it today. My shifter moves up and down excessively when accelerating and deccelerating. Is this normal? is a mount or bushing bad? Is this what the engine torque brace is for? i assumed it was for side to side movement, not up and down. Does anyone know what im talking about? if not i could probably get a video of what its doing. just let me know. thanks.

Motor mounts are shot. Also get an engine torque brace and that will stop the movement.

yep your mounts are ****, the left side especially, and yes the torqe brace will help. BUT don't buy the brace and not change the mounts!!, the brace is ment for additional support, not to take the place of the factory mounts job

mounts are an easy fix anyways.. doesn't take that long.

go to RotorSports Racing and you can get new mounts, polyurethane racing ones.. i use them on my car.. they are badass.
