For those of you who have electrical boost guages, or any electrical guages I suppose, where did you tap into, in the cabin, to supply power to the guage? The guage I have demands power be supplied while the car is being started, i.e., I could not tap into the radio wires as the power to the radio is cut while the ignition is turning.

I plan to mount the guage on the column and was thinking about tapping into the wires from the ignition switch itself, as power is obviously supplied continously.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

Well you can tap into the extra power wire coming off your turbo timer if you have one(greddy timer with greddy harness).

Grab the power(Cont & Accs) off your ignition harness,

It's easy, will save you some time

and frustration.

Or go to the fuse box and find a "hot" terminal with a test light and plug into that

Can you guys elaborate a little more as to where and how you tapped into each specific point?

I recently uncovered my steering column and found, if I remember correctly, three sets of wires that were grouped together. I also found a place on the fuse panel inside the cabin that has no fuse at all but have yet to test it to see if it stays on while actually cranking.

Thanks.
