Did you get your injectors fixed and squared away Pete? When you get a chance, I need the datalogit back soon, probably in March to lend it to Todd.

I"m just a datalogit *****....

OK pulled the primary rail today and replaced the top orings on the primary injectors. I start it up.. it runs perfect.. so i go park it after a warm up cycle and wash the car.

I open the hood to detail a little bit and i hear a very very very slight hissing noise coming from under the manifold. Now, i don't smell any fuel or see it puddling anywhere. So, wtf is it? Is it fuel? is it air? Is this even natural.. i don't think it is from what i recall.

This ONLY happens when the car has been sitting and the pressure is dropping off the rail i guess. So if anyone has a clue.. please let me know..

The injectors i guess are about 11 years old i guess.. so maybe i need to send them to RC engineering and get them bored to 850s....?

you can hook up a gaguge to the feed side of the lines by the drivers side. pinch it off behind the gague. and pinch the return line. watch the gague to see if it is leaking down. if it is you know it is injectors, fpr, fpd, or a fitting in the loop.

well its the injectors... i talked to RC.. they said there is an Oring that is INSIDE the injector itself by the Top cap.. that can go bad by age/heat... and since they are 100k old.. they are shot..so i got another pair to install tomorrow.. see how it goes...
