I want to replace my stcok Water Temp and Oil Pressure gauge with some of the Defi link system gauges. I want to be able to mount the new gauges where the current ones are. Is that possible and if so, what size should I get? ie 52mm or 60mm. (I think those are the sizes)

Thanks!

It has been done with autometer gauges, but I'm not positive of what size was used

52mm would be a closer fit i think. they have to be really shallow though

Its actually not too bad. The hardest part would be to get a speedometer that will work properly.

yeah gordon went with autometers because they are about the only people who have a speedo (vdo, and some of the hot rod places do too)

I only want to replace the water temp and oil pressure gauges. I am ok with the tach and speedo. that are in the car now.

So Autometer gauges will work "in dash"?

I called Autometer and the guy said that the Autometer gauges should work so laong as th stock gauge holes are 2 1/16 in size. It looks like they have a in dash mount also. Does ANY one have any experience and success in getting any aftermarket gauge in the stock gauge panel?

Thanks!
