after almost 5 years @ 450ish HP, the engine is starting to go.

5 years eh? Cool! How many miles approx. is that?

Sweet build. Wish I had the $ and Time.

ahh no clue on the miles. Friend of mine owned it before me. I know he drove it a lot, and I drove it every day for about a year before getting a real daily driver.

I've always been told that it is not smart to use -3 for the entire brake line system because it will actually bulge at high braking pressure. Did you consider this? I was going to do my brake lines in -3 but wimped out and ran steel lines at the last second. It would have been SO much easier to run the -3....

heard that.. dont belive it. Im useing aearoquip teflon braded lines, good for up to 3,000 psi.. lets put it this way, My front brakes lock up with the smallest pressure on the pedal.. and that remindes me, I need to adjust my brake balancer.

oh, and we only used the braded lines on the front of the car.. firewall back is still solid. now my buddy used all braded for his FC build(can check that out in the 2nd gen section.)

Yea I got to think if that were true then everyones braided lineswould bulge at the caliper.

exactly! the key is to make sure you use the correct fittings and just make sure everything is installed properly.
