is the plug circled, white? if it is whats it do? i kinda broke a wire off it this morning and it seemed like one was already broken off.

since then ive had the oil light come on as i rev up.

On my car that plug is black, the photo I have isn't very clear but I'm pretty sure there are 8 positions on the connector. 4 of the wires are for the Oil Metering Pump's motor, and three of the wires are for the OMP position sensor (power, ground, and signal). The 8th position in the connector might be blank, but if you have less than 7 wires going to your OMP that will be trouble.

scotty, the omps on the other side, i could be wrong but i think thats the connector that connects the one engine harness to the other side. I havent looked at my wiring recently but ill take a look today and let ya know what i see.

That's the connector for the OMP and sensor assembly. It runs down behind the vacuum chamber and under the WP housing to the OMP. If on a stock or re-programed ECU, the OP should have seen a CEL and limp mode.
