Breaking Into Fd!
i just don't lock my doors.....
maybe park in better locations? an alarm system?
It's parked for good in my buddies driveway...we have people that know it is there and we can't always be there to watch it....alarms are only good if car batteries are. And if the neighbors are friendly enough to not come out and beat the **** out of your loud *** car, then I would like to meet them....plus they are not my neighbors, they are my buddies.
um... why is this thread still here showing readers how to break into our cars?
Well, genius, tell us your magnificant ideas on how to stop it...me and my buddy were thinking epoxy, but that may be a little overboard...how about silicone sealant mixid with a littler super glue...not sure if that would work, do they sell other items that might help. These were ideas I was hoping you might come up with. Instead of the always uninspiring "You are telling them our secrets!" Yeh right...secrets, thats why the guy that got into my FD was a Fairlady driver. You know what nopiston guy? Why don't you give up on driving an FD if innovation ended in 94 when your car was built.

Sounds like a plan man, fill your entire door with silicone and use lexan for windows. Also keep a guarddog inside your car at all times (or sinful7).
Bottom line is, if someone wants something from your car, your not going to be able to stop them from taking stuff out of it, unless maybe you have it garaged at all times with locks on the doors. Your windows will always be breakable and theifs will always be evident.
I just don't want guests reading this thread and seeing how theres a weaklink in our car

Sadly, after owning a FD for as long as I have, I still have no idea what problem we're even talking about here. Almost wish I did, would have saved me a bit of cash when I locked the keys in the car.
Just remember, locks are only there to keep honest people honest.
and from a thieves perspective:
Anything not nailed down is mine. Anything nailed down, I've got a crowbar.
