hey i gotta change the rear pads on my fd but im having issues gerring the piston compressed. everything went smooth i disconnected the ebrake line and flapped up the caliper but i cant figure out how to compress the piston so i can fit it around 2 new pads. ive attempted to bleed some of the fluid while compressing but no luck. does it have something to do with rotating the piston to push it in then rotating it back to put the pad in or what cause ive done brake pads on my truck for soe time now and never ran into this problem.
thanks for any help

Yea they are prolly the threaded pisotns/calipers, most rear are. I have a kit from snap-on that compresses them perfectly, but that doesn't do you much good, your local parts store should have something you can rent.
