OK guy's I'm new to the list and wanted to know how I can turn my auto 93 into a stick . I would do all the work myself I just wanted to know how much would I have into parts and what is the parts list of what I would need to complete the job correctly. I love my 93 I really wanted a 5spd but my car is Mint in every way and I got it for a sweet price. If it's a waste of time just let me know . I definately don't want to hack up a sweet car. Thanks Ron

if it runs fine automatic leave it that way. if you want a 5speed sell your car and buy a 5speed. it is alot of time and money to convert the car... in my opinion it is NOT worth it...........

I'm with vosko on this one.Just find a buyer who appreciates the FD as much as you do and will give it a good home. Then buy a 5 sp and beef it up.

Trust me the automatic will hold as much as you will probably ever give it. So if its not broke dont fix it........I like they said if you want a 5 speed buy one....Cuz your looking at about $2500 in parts alone....ANd alls youll get from your complete set up when its done is about $350 At least thats what ive benn picking them up from om the internet after peeps do the swap. Im buying some for spares just in case better safe than sorry...........

You will need the following parts:

manual tranny (of course)

manual drive shaft

clutch slave cylinder

clutch pedal

manual starter

If you don't have too much on your car right now, it will be cheaper to sell your car and buy a manual one. The auto tranny is not stong at all. It sucks big time if you don't beef it up. I destroyed mine about 4 years ago when my car only had about 330 to the wheel.
