Apexi Power FC for fd3s
#3
Depends on what mods you have or plan...
If your car is basically stock, or stock with a few BPU's,the stock ecu is actually a better choice, since it has active knock control. And being speed density, it will react to changes within the limits of the stock fueling system. So basically if you stay within the power limits of 550/850cc injectors, stay stock ecu.
The power FC has a base map that is not tuned for anything except getting the car to a dyno and competent tuner... So many people drive around on the base map and kill motors..
