you are right, youre pretty useless unless a large bolder falls on kids leg and youre around to lift it off. Or if an elephant died and they needed to move the body to another location... But yeah, other than that you dont really server a purpose.

Will Defis fit in a stock cluster?
the 60mm ones won't fit obviously, but the 52mm ones may. I'm going to try it out with an extra 52mm gauge I have and an extra gauge cluter.

Looks like I may be trying to do the same thing that Max did with his gauges...cept I gots da Defi Link y0.
Defi and SPA guages are very nice.

I would go with the SPA guages though. You get two readings for one pod thing. So I could put on pod in where the oil pressure use to be and have it read oil temp and oil pressure. You can also get it with the red backlight.

seems worth doing it to me, the stock coolant guage and the stock oil pressure gauge are junk, why not take the time to put in some REAL gauges.

Another reason I want to install gagues in the stock location, I don't like being redundant. (2 guages doing the same thing)

I was thinking about that yesterday but for the water temp you will loose the "add coolant" light, unless maybe you can hook it up to the new gauge somehow. Maybe with the Defi but I doubt it with the SPA. Maybe Max could chime in on this.

I would replace the water guage with Water/Oil temp SPA & the oil gauge with fuel/oil pressure.
