Decipher Your Vin Number

Ok here ya go...

JM1=Mazda Passenger car
FD=RX7 3rd gen Series
33=Coupe
1=1308cc USA Spec
2=1308cc Canadian spec
3=Maunal seatbelts and Dual Airbags
*=check digit
P=1993
R=1994
S=1995
0=Hirshoshima Plant
####=Serial Number

of interest is that these cars are NOT built sequentially, but in batches. so they will have built 4-5 red ones, one day then a couple of green the next, but you cannot say that 203801 was built after 203800, unless you look at the production dates.
oh btw, if you look at the last 6 of the vin it tells you the year. 2xxxxx is a 93, 3xxxxx is a 94, and 4xxxxx is 95. the jdm vins follow this too.
fd3s-2xxxxxx is a 12-91 to 6-93? car, fd3s-50000+ is a 99spec, i'm not sure where 3, and 4 break
