so this trans failed in the race car sometime last year, and i just pulled it apart now, as i need some kind of manual trans for my na. paul was kinda vauge about what was actually wrong with it, he just said broken, and well it is....

i couldn't get the car into 4th gear a few years ago at VIR.. thought it was a bent shift fork or something. Got back in the paddock area and drained the tranny oil... nice and clean. Pulled the lower case cover and 4th gear FELL out on top of me. The actual gear was in 3 major peices and about a bazillion (scientific unit) tiny peices. The syncro was non existent also.



Yours was in an NA car? Impressive!
