yup, cleaned out the old bac today, and im happy now, car idles like a champ, not bad for what ever carb cleaner costs. I would suggest this to anyone with unreliable idle when there is load on the car.

take off the intake tube and elbow, take off the hose clamps on the bac valve, unplug the wire to the bac valve, unscrew the two 10mm nuts that hold the bac to the intake mani, pull the bac off and spray carb cleaner in the two ends until it comes out clear.

theres a write up on 1300cc.com for more details, it also shows you how to do it for a turbo car.

I assume there isn't much of a difference. Spray till its clean.
