I dont think someone would swap out all those parts to pass it off as a AE, its not like the cars are so exotic and expensive.

the vins break down like this JM1FC3323J0612128

j = japan, 1and 4 are usa, w is the fatherland etc

m1 = mazda

fc = is second gen rx7, fd is 3rd, gd is 626, uc is the truck

33 = coupe, 35 is convertable

2 = turbo, or airbags non air bags

3 = check digit, its a mathmatical formula

j = 1988, e is 1984, f 1985 etc

0 = the assembly plant, 0 is hiroshima, 1 is hofu, 5 is flat rock

6 = is the amount of years they made that body style, 93 is 2, 94 is 3 95 is 4 etc

12128 is the non-sequential build number

btw. the car is like 180 miles away from where i live... so towing it back home would be a pain in the neck.

ill post pictures soon of the soon-to-be-project, if i do get this car.
