Hey Guys,

Just wondering if this was possible. I assume so. Just wondering if the Series 5 tailights would fit straight on to the series 4 or if some minor fabrication was needed?.

Thanks

Myself, along with a lot of others have done this.

If your going to do it, its best to get the taillights with the center license plate bracket and it will bolt right up.

If you can only get the lights w/out the license plate bracket, it'll still fit, but you will need to cut these two small metal tabs at the top of s4 license plate bracket to make it fit..looks fine when its done....

yah i used my hammer, so i could put it back later. the reverse light sits a tad more inboard on the s5, so you need to bend or snip a little bit out of the s4 sheetmatal to make it fit

yeah, YOU MUST CLIP SOME METAL AWAY FROM WHERE THE CENTER-MOST ROUND LIGHTS ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE LIGHTS ENTER THE LIGHT HOLES FOR THE LIGHTS TO BE FLUSH.

the previous owner on my s4 did not do that, and when i pulled it out, i saw where they were touching (left a clean white ring in the dirt on the frame. all you need is a little hacksaw, some vice-grip piers, and that's it. cut, break off the metal, try it on for size. cut more if needed.

they fit perfect and look great.

i got some for sale, also, if you need some.
