Changing all fluids in my car, last but not least the differential. I drained it fine, and went to remove fill plug ---> seized. No budge at all. Anyway any ideas what to try? Would I damage anything if i drive it to the nearest shop? about 2 minutes away?

If the unit is drained, using the correct fluid level for your year make and model, you can just remove the shifter and pour it directly into there.

Yeah, that makes no sense. Don't do that. (are you thinking of transmission fluid, camel?)

Try heating the area around the fill plug, and get a big breaker bar.

Boy what was I thinking, I am on drugs, seriously, when I posted that I had 60mg of Codeine Sulfate in my system for pain, I must have misread the differential as a transmission, I apologise. Been a weird couple of days.
