Thumbs up

I heard there was a write up on here on converting an N/A block to Turbo and doing it affordably... I heard that it was lost when this forum crashed... Is it still on here and if not, would the person who wrote it happen to still have it on their computer so they can re-submit it?

Thanks y'all...

Here's something I found on rx7club.com

http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=60...urbo+conversion

To sum it up, unless you have access a lot of misc TII motor parts, you're probably better off looking for either a different car completely or at least a wrecked TII with a usable motor.

Of course, don't just take my opinion, I'm very new to the world of 7's, but this guy's write-up has a pretty big list of "what you'll need in addition to just the stock motor."

The thread I am talking about is a write up that costed the guy about 500.00... I heard about it from RX7club... I was just wondering if it was still around or if the person that wrote it still had it and could repost it...

prbly just turboing a na, you should be able to do that with used parts for $500.

(and then when you rebuild it, it would add $2K...lol)

ive turboed the na. its allmost like u basicly need everything from a turbo II motor except the block, then u need ecu and afm, boost sensor, a fuel pump, ehxuast, custom oil and water lines, port match the intake, and u need a few block off plates...

and if your block is low milage, if its high miles it wont last too long.

It is an N/A block converted to turbo... The write up was on this site (not rx7club) and was lost when this site crashed...

I am only trying to see if the thread I am talking about was restored or if the person who wrote it still has it and can repost it...

I understand the conversion is a pain...

I understand that it costs alot more if you have to buy the TII block and everything to go with it...

I just wanted to take a look at that one specific thread... I am not even sure if I want to do that big of a hack up job on my n/a... It is far too pretty...

I would probably just buy the TII (entire car) and rebuild it...

Thanks for all the info though...
