the bypass valve gets plugged into the harness?

my favorite tps check is the factory way with the 2 lights, if you've got a long screwdriver the ic can stay on

it has a 2 prong white connection on about 3 inches of wire. the wires are seperate green and black. i cant find anywhere the plug reaches to be plugged in the only plug thats the same and close to it is by the firewall about 3 inches down in the rear center of the engine bay

i was going to adjust my tps and i couldnt find the screw i found both of the things you move to make the engine rev but i found no adjustment screw. also there is a bar coming off of one that has a ton of play in it and is barely connected to the other piece and no wires connected

man, they left you hanging, i don't normally use this board but hey, if your still looking, the Air Bypass Solenoid valve gets plugged into a connector that is probably hidden from youre view under the upper intake manifold(UIM). The TPS is best adjusted by removing the Intercooler and check the resistance on the (A) and (B) pin. Should be go from ~1 to ~5k-ohm from rest to throttle wide open. Adjust by turning the screw with the spring.

The wires for the connector you are looking for are tied into a harness that also has the plug for your air supply valve, which is on the back of your UIM. Your best bet is probably to pull off the intercooler and see if you cant fish out the connector from under the ack of the manifold. If not it's not that bad to remove the upper intake manifold, 4 nut, 1 bolt, some coolant from BAC hoses and 3 small lines on the front and three on the back, detatch the throttle cable and cruise cable and the coolant hose underneath and your all good.

Now if you did that, you can easily find that connector and do some clean up whilst all of that clutter is outa your way.

The Check the fuel system, especially the Pulsation Damperner. Look at the grommets for your injectors, are they all cracked and leaky? I'd just do some overall maintanence, be a good time to redo vac lines, fuel system, blah blah, even just blow it off with air.
