OK GUYS...I NEED OPINIONS HERE.....

I currently have an 88 Vert with 115000 miles on it...the body is in great shape, so is the interior, pretty good car overall, could use an exhaust though....

I also have an 87 TII with 158000 miles on the car, the body is in pretty good shape, good paint, couple knicks and dings(nothing major)...the engine is a 89 jspec with around 30k miles supposedly that just got put in by the previous owner, but he was too dumb to get it running cuz he didnt know he couldnt use an 87 ecu with an 89 motor, which made him frustrated enough to sell it....(hey, made me happy cuz I BOUGHT IT) It also came with the old 87 block, intake manifolds, and turbos, and some other parts here and there, But I dont know what happened to that motor, He said it like blew up on him or something going to college one year..which is why he bought the jspec.

I dont know what to do, cuz I have kinda wanted and turbo vert, But I also want a good fast car that will toast people on the street, and I know my vert weighs around 3300 lbs, and the TII weighs about 1950 lbs. So I figured I would get some opinions from ya...THANKS....

well a vert only weighs about 300 pounds more than a coupe so your really off there. The vert would be fast with a tII conversion. Why dont you just rebuild the 87 block and put it in the vert and keep both turbo?

How much would it cost to rebuild and port an engine? Maybe if I had a little cash left from modding the TII, I could think about making both cars turbo..not a bad idea...
