Ive decided to put a converter back on the exaust, the loudness and the fumes are just too much for me anymore. I oredered a high flow cat, and it came in this week that im going to have welded on the MazdaTrix pipe before the pre-silencer. I hope it quiets and cleans things up, and who knows, maybe Ill pass emissions with no help.

It would be nice to pass inspection, I hate to use favors like that for a basically stock car.

My 91 coupe has a downpipe and high flow cat, and it passed last year without any problems.

Is it just a replacement converter? I got mine from Summit, its got a stainless housing, the converter material itself is all the same on every converter. Even if lasts for a year or 2, Ill be happy, it was only $60, its funny because I dont know if its a typo or not, but in the last issue of Turbo, summits ad says its $99.95, but in the big catalog, its $59.95

It came with the car when I got it. I think it's the Bonez converter that RP sells.
