I changed it and a little bit of coolant comes out. Not alot but enough to not drive it. Is there a gasket or a sealant to use?

i believe they stopped using that gasket and now it simply seals with the thermostat gasket itself.

i'd just use silicone/rtv, generally works fine.

Where can I get it at? I looked on mazdatrix, corksport & rx7world they do not have them.

Even if the silicone rtv seals it i'd still wanna do it the proper way and get that gasket. Thx!

you should be able to get the gasket at any auto parts store.

just go in and ask for the "thermostat gasket"

its the rubber ring that goes around the thermostat itself.

So would I be wrong to call that an "o" ring like I thought it was? Thanks man I already had that on and it still leaked... maybe it had a tare. I didn't inspect the ring much I was on lunch break. Started her up today and no more leaking. It's ready to roll out now. Peace.

yea some times they call it an o-ring, depends on the part manufacturer.
