alright... my tailights dont work... they did before i took my tailight assembly off and repainted them... i removed some kind of ground wire... i know this is the source of my problem... but i cant find where it goes back on!!!!! i feel like an idiot... one end is a little loop that a bolt or screw holds down... the other end is a single plug in connector... i know the little loop end goes to a mounting bolt that holds that tail light assebly in place... but what the heck... i cant find the little plug in where the other end connects too... i looked around for hours... its like it just flew away....dangit! someone pull back their carpet and pull out their spare tire and see if there is a random wire going from a ground to some plug in that ive described!!! please!!! thnx

There is no need to remove any thing except the plug when working on the tails, not really sure whats going on there?

There isnt even a ground that goes on any of the bolts that hold the tailights on the body

There's a ground on each side under the release actuator (where the two smaller holes are under each latch)...

i found out what i did wrong.... see, the illumination fuse, and all dash and instrument cluster illumination and tailights/parklights/glove box are all wired in series together... well when i installed my cd player i accidentally hooked the stock illumination wire up to the ground wire for the cd player. (for future reference if anyone has this problem and keeps blowing there illum. fuse after they installed the cd player) do not hook the illumiation wire up, just cut it and tape it off. then run the ground on the cd player to chassis.
