Starting Problems Beyond The Flooded Engine

I pulled the car into the garage, shut it off. I was working on the car stereo. When i went to move the car it didn't want to start. I then performed the standard engine flooded trick w/ the fuse. Still no luck. I tried it a couple more times. nothing. I hooked the battery to a charger thinking that it my be too low. When i went to start it again i performed the flooded engine trick before hand. THe car went from making a starting sound to a high pitch whiney sound. It is a constant sound and the car doesn't sound like its gonna start. So i checked the spark plugs to see if they were fireing, and they put out a good spark. I sprayed starting spray into the injectors to see if it was a fuel problem. No change in the start. I even tried pushing starting it droping the clucth, it almost kicked, but to no avial. I'm not sure what is wrong. Should i take it somewhere to have it professonally fixed or is it simple and i'm missing the problem? help.

hookup battery charger, pull out all the spark plugs, pull egi fuse, crank it over for about 10 seconds like 20 times. that should usually do the trick. you will see gas coming out the tailpipes and shooting over your driver's side fender. i think you just flooded it REALLY bad. it took forever to unflood my TII when i got it. atleast a few hours...... just keep cranking it until you don't see anymore gas coming out the tailpipes.....

Yes, if you aren't getting fuel. Go ahead and pull the fuel line out of the side of the block, then crank it over, you should spew some fuel fuel out of the line. If no fuel, pull it before the filter, it could just be a clogged fuel filter as well, crank it see if you are getting fuel before the filter.
If no, then you have either a bad fuel pump or fuel pump relay. You can pull the cover off teh back and see if you hear it running, then track it down from there.

if you don't hear compression wooshes when you crank with the spark plugs out try putting some 2 stroke oil in the combustion chambers via spark plug holes, or marvels mystery oil then crank it a bunch, maybe let it soak in a bit.
if you badly flood the motor you can wash away all the oil and if you let it sit corrosion can begin, apex seals can stick etc. this will have a negative effect on compression. keep things oiled.
another problem is often people flood their motors due to old leaking injectors, pulling the EGI fuse disables the injectors, but if they are leaking they will still let fuel by! The fuel pump still runs with the EGI fuse pulled (on my S4 NA anyways) I have a switch installed for toggling the fuel pump power so it can be disabled when needed. You might want to add something like that.
Do you smell fuel?
