when im not moving and i rev the engine past about 5 or so it will start smokeing if i take it to seven it will really smoke. my question is is this normal? i know a rotary burns a small ammt of oil normally but why so much during the higher revs? is my metering pump malfunctioning and squirting like a highschool boy on a prom datewhen i get past 6 ? also it might do it when im moving but i cant really tell.

Mine does that because the engine oil seals are shot...I hope that's not the case for you as well.

Yeah, when your oil seals are shot, really the only way to fix em is to rebuild her.

I saw in your sig that you used to have a Camaro??! I have an 84 Berlinetta 305. The 700R4 Trannies suck a big fat one!!!!! I've had to change it too!!! It's probably from doing too many donuts.

yep donuts are fun and burn-out too but the tranny didn't like that one bit. the coolest thing about the camaro was that when the dude i bought it from put in the 350 he didn't hook up the speedometer so when i thought that a cop was near i got real twitchy and drove slow and you know what i never got a ticket in that car!

Mine does that to when I rev it past 7k thick white smoke out the back. :wow: It's allowed to though, it has 170,656 miles. :tounge:
