Heres a question maybe someone has ran into. My 89 TII runs great and doesn't have a trail of smoke behind it like other threads on smoke issues but only smokes when I get somewhere and sit for a few min then it slowly starts to smoke till it has a big cloud behind it. I'm thinking of posting a vid because it literally takes about 1-2 min otherwise it doesn't smoke at all. Wondering if it's oil in the exhause or just not getting burned off at idle.

I have the same problem with my 13B BP, I've been told by my workshop thats its oil control rings! Hope that helps, or at least in the right direction.

Could be your oil seal on your turbo wearing out, do you get a lot of smoke at redline too?

It doesn't smoke other than after idling for a few min. That's it. Otherwise it doesn't smoke. And I do help it see redline occasionally. I figured it was some seal but wasn't sure. Probably nothing that I will make a big deal about until it smokes all the time but was curious.
