Thumbs down

Why are the short shifters different for s4 and s5. I thought they would be the same given you can use an aftermarket clutch on both s4 and s5 n/a

Im pretty sure it has to do only with the shift **** threads, cause I have a C's short shifter in my S4, but its for an S5. So for a shift **** I use a team voodoo shift ****.

The shortshifters I build I have installed in T2s, S4s and S5s.

I build them with S4 **** threads (the S5 **** is rediculously long anyway).

The MazdaTrix SS always used to be a MazdaSpeed unit. So if they have their own now it is probably a knock off anyway. I can'y imagine that there is much (if any) difference between the 2 as there is very little room for design change due to existing geometry in the transmission shifter housing, without modifying the housing.

Or you can just go buy a short shifter for a Miata.
