#2
Not yet, but the setup I am gonna run is offered from Mazdaracing.com.. It is blow thru with a Weber carb.. Intercooler is optional.. Exhaust is gonna be straight pipe.. Probably a moddifed Starion intercooler at first.. My engine is S5 but the vehicle is actually my 75 Repu so No emissions crap will be used.. Check the first gen forum, ther are a couple of Turboed guys there..

blow through is PITA to tune properly!!!
Remember that you rely on a set jetting with a blow through setup. EFI constantly changes things and adds fuel when you start to lean out. With a blowthrough it could be as simple as a cold day causing you to overly lean out. I have had a few friends run them on Datsuns, and the like, and most have MAJOR issues with them.
Here is a GREAT article written by a 510 nut that has pretty much everything covered. Granted it's not for an rx7, but he still goes through all the pro/cons/

A Blow thru system is a way of running the carb with a turbo.. Blow thru is when the pressurized air from the turbo is blown thru the Carb. it works basically the same as the EFI setup where the throttle body would be the equivalent of the carb.. The pipe coming out of the turbo with pressurized air is hooked up to blow thru the carb, then the air is mixed with fuel and ignited.... there are variations of this, and the carb also has to be prepped to accept the added boost..
