Exclamation

My drivers seat bolster had been quite damaged since I purchased the car. The foam has been crumbling all over the car and I crack my elbow constantly on the metal bar that sticks out. I was out searching junk yards for a 86-88 GXL diff, I stumbled upon an interior shop and stopped in. $75 later my seat was fixed. Amazingly enough, they matched up the vinyl almost perfectly. Check it out.

Hey nemesis, what upholestery shop did you go to? I know you are in Austin but maybe they can recommend someone in Fort Worth. My seat is doing the same thing. Thanks.

Yeah for some ungodly reason ALL FC's (S4/S5) have that portion of the seat rip.. over time, getting in and out of the car puts a strain on the part (i personally push on the part right before i get in the car... it's just habit) Even though mine have been ripped since i got the car, i am getting 'new' racing seats soon.. so it really doesnt bother me. Plus their 9 lbs a piece!!!! the stock GXL 'luxury/crap' are around 20-25 lbs. Blaggg!
