the seat belt light on my "new" 89 GTU is flashing on and off, constantly, and it beeps incessantly unless I plug in the lap belt, I was told it is the cpu that needs to be replaced, I am assuming it is somewhere in the drivers side kick panel, I need some enlightenment, where would I look for it, and maybe what does it look like?

even if there is nothing wrong with the seatbelt itself? the belt works fine, but the light comes on in the idiot cluster, if that is true, and I can get it fixed free, I may do that, otherwise, I have a spare cpu sitting in my garage. I just need to learn where it is, and how to get to it.

excellent, as long as it is not to hard for me to identify, I will have that issue fixed soon, now, to replace the tps, would it just be easier to swap the UIM, assuming everything is still connected? or would that cause some other issues?
