My front bumper cover got junked up by the tow truck and now I need to replace it.

Question:

"Are there any fitment issues with the 'S5 on an S4' swap?"

I find the s5 bumper to be mas bonita, and it appears to have more room for the future FMIC.

BTW: I tried searching for this topic, so if its been covered before....sorry.

Thanks

I think that they bolt up to the same mounts, but the only thing that you will have to get are the turn signals, they are different from an S4 to an S5.

yeah, i'm aware of that.....i'll be painting the whole car anyway.

turn signals...no problem.

I only ask because the bomex body kit has fitment issues on the S4's, while it fits perfectly on the S5's

if you replace the s4 mouldings to s5 when you put on front bumper cover, will they line up all the way around?

If you use S5 headlight covers and an S5 hood, would that close the gap?

I can't tell if it will line up with the hood or not.

the hoods and headlight covers are the same

I dont know why that kit doesnt fit a S4, that might have

been one persons problem due to the car itself and not the kit.

Do the S5s have the rubber molding on the end of the bumper?

That could be why that kit has a space, there is no rubber molding

there

The S5 fenders bolt differently to the nose than the S4. you may need to drill some holes. No biggy
