The negative terminal connector to my battery is well pretty shot. I wanna buy a replacement one but not sure which to get as i have no idea where the negative cable leads to so i dont know what length to get.

where does the negative terminal go to? all the way to the starter i figure? (havent checked, been busy doing all this other crap)

The negative goes back to the transmission bolt on the engine side by the starter. It's also grounded halfway on the frame.

Yes, if/when you relocate the battery, it can be grounded to the body right outside of the box. In addition to that, some people still run it to the stock location on the starter to assure a good ground.
