So when I picked up my new n/a rx7 the gauge light cluster didn't light up. Well I changed all the bulbs and now it works but even with the dimmer switch all the way up they still aren't to bright. So I guess it's something other than the bulbs?!

Change the whole cluster. Those things are pretty common to find.

That would be a bitch because I just put in white face gauges.

If it comes down to it I guess i'll just replace it.

Anyone else... could it be anything else?

it could be the light switch itself, or the harness.

sometimes I have to tap on my dimmer adjustment a little to get the lights full power.

does electrical current go through solder?

maybe it was how I soldered the wires to hook up the white faces to a power source

but then even b4 installing the white gauge faces it was the same

lol that's funny... you just tap on it and it gets full power weird

most things in a FC can be fixed by tapping it

maybe one day the car will go on fire, then I can collect on the policy
