I looked under my car today after work and there was a small puddle of coolant, I thought maybe it was the radiator or a hose of some sort but, no luck in finding it. I could however see coolant coming from the back part of the motor just cant find from where. I ran the search and I think that it might be from the TB because my floors not wet inside the car and I couldn't see the heater core lines leaking. How often does this happen and is it a possibility? Would this small leak cause my heat temps to rise in the engine bay, i.e. loss of pressure in coolant system due to leakage? Please help my coolant system is haunting me.

It's most likely the coolant line that runs from your TB to the motor. pull the UIM and check/replace it, or just do the TB mod.

where does that coolant line run to the front or the back of the motor, and does the line run under the UIM? It seems like the coolant is running off the back of my motor buy I cant find where its coming from. Is it a possibility that it could be a water jacket core plug, and could someone tell me where the engine drain is at so that I could check that to? I really need help it seems like my car just has one problem after another, Its becoming really frustrating, Thanks for all the help so far.

The line runs from the water pump, to the BAC, to the throttle body, then kinda under the UIM to the rear of the block. THAT is probably where the break is. You'll have to pull the UIM/TB assembly to check. It'll spill out at that big nipple on the block, then collect around the injectors, then roll down the bellhousing.

O.K. I found out that the leak is either coming from the heater hose on the driver side of the vehicle for the heater core. I think I am going to have to pull the dash for this one but i'm not sure, Is there a hose/tube that extends from the heater core into the engine bay? Would this leak cause my engine temps to rise(the mechanic that rebuilt my engine handed me back a hole bunch of O rings, I think they where for the intake manifold, does anyone have pictures)? I am just wondering how much air would actually enter into the cooling system? Thanks for all the help you guys have given me!!!

The heater line on that side is basically directly behind the DC, right over the tranny/bellhousing. It should be easy to spot a leak there. It winds down along the diriver's side of the block and enters the engine right below the oil filter /oil pressure sensor, it's a bitch to get to. That end leaks often, but the water just runs down the driver's side of the block.

Hopefully he wasn't ignorant and didnt put the orings in the intake to engine part. The orings are about 3/4 inch in diameter.

Some times mechanics use the worm type clap instead of reusing the wire type clamps on the heater hoses. I have found that the worm type tend to crush the copper tube of the heater. Makes a seal inpossible. Check that just in case.

I found the leak, I'm just not sure how to stop it or if i need to replace the heater core. yes its definately a PIA to get to, which is going to make it harder to fix, especially with the engine brace i have getting in the way. Thanks alot for the helpful info you guys provided for me. Hopefully i can get this fixed, Is it alright to drive my car with this small leak until I get it fixed(if I have to)?
